Our Ontario pasture raised chicken gizzards are are great for braising, then battering and deep frying. A popular traditional food worldwide.
Each package of chicken gizzards is approximately 1 lb. They are flash frozen to ensure premium freshness and flavour as they make their way to your freezer and dinner table.
Our pasture raised chickens are raised here at Meeting Place Organic Farm in Lucknow, Ontario.

How it works:
We raise three batches of chickens each year. Due to our harsh Canadian winters, chickens can only be raised outside, on pasture, as weather permits. We raise chickens under the Ontario Artisanal Chicken Program.
Our June chicken will be available the week of June 24th, 2024.
Our August chicken will be available the week of August 1st, 2024.
Our September chicken will be available the week of September 9th, 2024.
Pickup/Delivery. You will be billed for the outstanding amount the week of your delivery which will be determined by the next delivery date heading to your area or the week of your pick up if you are coming to the farm to get your meat.
Please note: the price you see for this item in your cart is an estimate and not the final price. The price will be adjusted on your invoice based on the actual weight of the product when we receive it back from the abattoir.
